Civil Code of Ukraine, approved by the Law of Ukraine dated January 16, 2003 No 435-IV, Article 707. Exchange of Goods
- The buyer has the right to exchange non-food goods of a proper quality for the similar goods of the other size, form, dimensions, style, set etc. at the place of purchase or at the other places stated by the seller. The mentioned right may be exercised within fourteen days starting upon the purchase (not including the day of the purchase) unless a longer term is identified by the seller. In case of price difference the buyer shall perform the required recalculation.
The buyer has the right to return the purchased goods and get back money paid for such goods if the seller has no goods required for the exchange.
The buyer’s demand to exchange or return the goods shall be satisfied, if the goods have not been in use and marketable conditions as well as consumer qualities are preserved and the proofs of the goods purchase at the seller are available.
- The list of goods, which may not be returned or exchanged, under the provisions of this Article, is established by regulatory legal acts.
