THE ENTRANCE TO UKRAINE AND EXIT FROM UKRAINE
Article 9. The entrance to Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons and terms of stay within Ukraine
1. The foreigners and stateless persons enter Ukraine upon the availability of passport document defined by this Law or international treaty of Ukraine and visa that is obtained in accordance with the established procedure, unless otherwise is provided by the legislation or international treaties of Ukraine. This rule shall not be applied to the foreigners and stateless persons, who cross the state border of Ukraine with the purpose to be recognized as refugees or persons in need of additional or temporary protection or asylum.
2. The foreigners and stateless persons while passing the border control at the checkpoints across the state border shall submit their biometric data for their fixation.
3. The term of stay of foreigners and stateless persons within Ukraine shall be established by the visa, legislation of Ukraine or international treaty of Ukraine.
